I John Heathcote of Berrisford Lane in the Parish of Allstonefield and County of Stafford Farmer do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in the form and manner following.

Imprimis I will and direct that my Body be buried in a decent christian manner at the Discretion of Charles Mitchel Junior of the Field in the Parish & County aforesaid whom I constitute & appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament & I will & direct my executor aforenamed to pay all my just Debts, the Expence of my Burial & the Probate of this my Will, & that he indemnify himself for any incidental charges that may occur

Imprimis I give & devise to my son James Heathcote all that my Estate at Berrisford Lane in the Parish & County aforesaid together with the freehold Cottage & Land thereto adjoining, with this Proviso, that the said Estate be valued fairly, & then I will & direct that my Son James Heathcote be paid out of the Sum of Money of the Estate so valued, the Sum of Money together with the Interest which I owe him, by my Executor, twelve months after my Decease. And then I give & bequeath to & amongst my Sons & Daughters the Residue & Remainder of the Money arising from such Valuation, to be divided equally amongst them share & share alike

Item I give and bequeath to & amongst my Sons & Daughters the Money that may arise from the fair Valuation or Sale of my Household Furniture (except the Box which I have given to George Harrison the Son of my Son James Heathcote) & the Implements of Husbandry to be equally divided amongst them share & share alike twelve months after my Decease.

I also will & direct my Executor to pay to my Son James Heathcote the Cottage Rent with the Interest due thereon, which he has paid to Sir George Crewe, & then the Residue & Remainder to be divided equally amongst my Sons & Daughters share & share alike.

And I do hereby revoke and disannul all other former Wills & Testaments by me heretofore made & ratify & confirm this & no other to be my last Will & Testament, dated this 17th Day of June 1835
