This profile is part of the Hineston, Louisiana One Place Study.
{{One Place Study|place=Hineston, Louisiana|category=Hineston, Louisiana One Place Study}}

The goal of this project is to ...document the history and the people of this study. Collect as many stories and photos that I can. Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Carolyn Dyess Bales.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • Collect Stories and photos
  • Collect and document the forgotten communities, schools, etc
  • Prepare a genealogy community tree

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!

The purpose of this study is to continue contacting people and collecting photos and stories, and preserving our history!. If we do not do it, a lot will be lost to future generations. The study includes all the surrounding communities. In addition, we are making trees for the surnames in the area. Thanks for any help you can give us!
