Drewsteignton is a picturesque village in the Teign valley. 13 miles west of Exeter and 9 miles south east of Okehampton, lying on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Holy Trinity Church, or more correctly, Church of the Holy Trinity, is a Grade 1 listed building.
The church dominates the village and can also be seen from miles around. Apart from the church, built mostly from the fifteenth century in the Perpendicular style, there are other old buildings in the village. The sixteenth century Church House, originally used for church ale brewing, then as a school with resident master, is now the village hall.
For more photos and information on the Church itself see the Free Space page for Church of the Holy Trinity, Drewsteignton. There are a number of grave slabs set into the floor, which are difficult or impossible to read, and also some memorials, some of which may reflect the resting place of those mentioned in the churchyard, or below the church itself.

This page is maintained by WikiTree members associated with the Global Cemeteries project. The aim is is to document the final resting place of those buried in Devon, to ensure that each cemetery has its own free-space page, which is linked to the category structure for Global Cemeteries, and that those buried in them are also gathered in the correct category. If you can help with adding photos or profiles of those listed as interred, it would be greatly appreciated. Please see the Devon Cemeteries Team Progress page for more details.
