Notes on Hunt Paper 1

I was given two sets of papers. One set typed, 86 pages in total length, of which I have pp. 37- 86, (Hunt Paper 1) and another set of hand written papers 69 pages in total length (Hunt Paper 2). The first, typed paper, is the basis, it seems, for the second hand written paper and Both appear to be the basis of the diagram of the family tree, and my mother's handwritten papers. - M. Gaulden

No Author, Title or date is given for "Hunt Paper 1". It appears to be a rambling dialogue with it's author making notes to other people attempting to research the Hunt Line, interjected into the main body of the paper. As the author makes discoveries, the author corrects earlier entries at the point the realization is made rather than going back to correct earlier conjectures. A numbering system is used to identify entries enabling the author to make those corrections or direct readers for reference without confusion.
