Hunt Plantation
This plantation maybe a new one in Hancock County, Georgia approximately seven mile from Sparta, Georgia. The owners were Judkins and Rebecca Hunt.
I recollects well living on the Hunt plantation. It wuz a big place an' we had fifteen or twenty slaves." The neighboring plantation belonged to the Alfriend family which was adjacent to the Hunt property. This was a recollection of Henry Rogers.
