Thanks for setting this up Ryan. Happy to be a part of it. I've been trying to prove my family's connection to Robert Holmes, DNA suggests it might be there but is not conclusive.

I recently set up a site on the crypto blockchain (holmestown.blockchain) with the Robert Holmes tree.

Nick - I see that you trace your line back to County Donegal. So do I. It looks like were are both in FTDNA Goup01, so we probably have a common ancestor back somewhere. I have collected a lot of information on the Holmes of County Donegal. I hope to start incorporating it into this site, but in will take some time. In the interim I am happy to share and send you the info if you are interested. Just drop me note.

I am very happy to join this project. I have spent the past couple of years researching Holmes families in Ireland focusing mostly on the period prior to 1800. I am looking forward to finding ways to share the information I have gathered.
