I love archive.org

Heads of families at the first census of the United States taken in the year 1790 : records of the State enumerations: 1782-1785, Virginia https://archive.org/details/headsoffamiliesa00nort

One of my profiles had a broken link to the 1783 Virginia count. I found this wonderful source to replace it.

Family search has a bazillion UNINDEXED records for Isle of Wight County. Bring your patience, because there's a LOT of stuff there. Some of the books have indexes in the front pages, but not all of them.

For anyone who is on Facebook, we have an Isle of Wight Virginia genealogy page. I set it up about a year ago, because it's such an old county, and there were no groups about it. We now have about 700 members and everyone there is friendly and helpful. C'mon over, if you do Facebook.

@Kathryn This page should be open for you to edit directly. If you are not able to edit, please let me know, otherwise, please make edits directly. Thanks for the good sources. Note FAG is only a source when there is a picture of the gravestone marker on FAG.

Antioch Christian Church Cemetery has almost 700 people interred and almost all are on Findagrave. I love using findagrave because the information provided gives you hints and clues that provide a place to start when you research in person or on familysearch.org. I have found incorrect information for some memorials on findagrave for this cemetery and the memorial page manager has always been gracious and quick to make corrections or additions that I suggest. https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2157641/antioch-christian-church-cemetery? I have family interred there, too, and manage those pages.
