The goal of this project is to connect everyone with the same mtDNA haplogroup (in this case J2a1a1a2), to compare notes, research, & try to find genealogy connections.

  • compile list of people with J2a1a1a2 mtDNA
  • reasearch & compile info on our haplogroup
  • compare genealogies & look for possible connections

Recently found through the mtDNA test that this is my maternal line haplogroup. As far as I can trace, maternal ancestors were in Norway.
