• the surname Jacka seems to imply that she is in some way related to Mary Mitchell nee Jacka, however no connection has yet been established
• Mary appears to be of the same generation as Mary Mitchell nee Jacka's father,
  • so Mary Jacka could be a maiden aunt, however Tobias's sister Mary was already married by 1795
  • or she could be the widowed wife Tobias's brother, however none of his brother's appear to have have married a mary
  • she could be a 2nd cousin
  • or there may no connection at all.
