Census on Family Search at Valle Township, Jefferson MO in 1880 on June 17th 1880. (parentheses are my comments) Shows Naaman & Wife Mary J. & 4 children: Tilly R. age 12, Corra (Cora. on 1900 census) age 8, Margaret A. (America) age 3 (listed on 1900 census as Maggie) Kinley M. (Melven or Kenley Melvin?) age 1 (listed as daughter but he was greatgrandpa to my husband!) listed 1900 census as male, age 21 b. May 1879.

1900 Census in Cave township, Cave City, Arkansas ( 7 children listed there—includes other children not born by 1880) Cora born Aug 1872, age 27 Maggie. born March 1877 age 23 Melvin born May 1879 age 21 Warren S. born June 1881, age 18 Roy born April 1883 age 17 (3 is not very legible) Malisa J. daughter born Jan 1885. Mary Ann(? messy writing on nn) age 3 (looks like his other 3, messed up!) born Feb. 1887.

On the 1900 census, Russell Landers, father of Naaman Robert, is also living there with Naaman & Mary J. in Cave township, Arkansas. Russell was age 82, Widowed, born in Virginia in May, 1818. He listed both his parents as born in VA. In 1900: Naaman R. born Feb 1843 age 57 Mary J. born Dec 1848 age 51 Married 36 years.(married or listed 3/31/1864 according to a list on Family Search in his Sources— which had him as Sanders instead of Landers) She reported she had given birth to 12 children with 7 living at 1900 Census done in June. Naaman reported he was born in Virginia, as well as both parents. Mary J. reported she and her parents were born in Missouri. They could all read & write.

So there are four more children besides Tilly R. who were dead by 1900.
