Continued working the Ward/Woods line and have arrived at Archibald Woods II (abt.1734-1783). Linked to father Archibald Woods but this is not correct based on other research found online. Need to add his children (documented in wife Mary's will) and children of daughter Margaret Ward.

Per all info I've now found, no one has identified the parents of Archibald Woods II (abt.1734-1783). He most definitely is not "II" (the second) nor the son of the Archibald Woods he's linked to. There's a random assortment of info on the profile, some of which refers to the correct Archibald and other not. The correct things need to be sourced. Note that much of this is just a compilation of other posts from that same forum. Should locate each original post and source to that instead of the compilation.

With this link broken, it's unlikely any connection back to Henry (Tudor) of England (1457-1509) is going to be established for Amy. It's possible Archibald has a common ancestor further up the chain that does link back to that line of royalty, but seems it would be impossible to prove unless some new sources are found.

Trying to prove father of Margaret (Woods) Ward (abt.1760-abt.1818). It doesn't appear to be Archibald, to whom she is currently linked. Note: It did turn out to be Archibald, identified through primary sources!

This is part of a bigger effort to try to verify that Amy is a descendant of Henry (Tudor) of England (1457-1509). Working way up through ancestors to verify sources.
