This Indenture mad and entered into this day by and between Thomas Thompson John Thompson and Julia Thompson parties of the first part and John Greenwell the party of the second part witnesseth That for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty two & 50/100 dollars ($62.50) cash in paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said parties of the first part have this day bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part a certain lot or parcel of land situated in the town of Waverly in union County Ky and bounded as follows viz: Beginning at a stake corner to Wm Greenwell in Jno S. Payne’s line thence with a line of said Greenwell S47W 22-1/2 poles to a stake in the north side of the Wheatley road thence with said road S35E 6 6/10 poles to a stake thence N47E 25-2/5 poles to a stake in John S. Paynes line thence with the said line N56-1/2W 6-6/10 poles to the beginning containing 1 acre of land To have and to hold the above described lot or parcel of land unto the said second part his heirs or assignees forever with covenant of General warranty.
In testimony whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto subscribed their names this January 28th 1893.
