These are recent photos of the building that Dee Roy Johnson owned during the 1930's. His meat market/butcher shop was on the ground floor and there were/are ten apartments in the back of the store and on the 2nd level. He named the apartments after his Texas hometown of Killeen. Underneath the mat on the front step to the entrance of the apartments can be found the word in tile Killeen.
