About Me

When I began using multiple genealogy sites, I used jduke79 as my username on most of them. As I continued with more in-depth research and DNA testing, I created a matching website where I could publish my original and inherited content. Rather than duplicating content on WikiTree and linking it to my personal profile, I created this page to be the index for all of my research. I hope that if my website ever disappears, the information will still be accessible here on WikiTree and through the web archive.

Terms of Use

Please don't modify or redistribute any of my documents or personal family photos without permission. When printing, please retain the citations and links so that others can easily find the most recent version and continue researching. You may save a local copy for your own collection, but I have made a great effort to make sure they are preserved online so that anyone can always find the latest version of them.

To reference one of my sources on external sites, please link directly to the document on my website. For WikiTree citations, look through my sources to find the appropriate source page, which should contain a template to use for your citation.

Disclaimer

Content on online sites that allow any users to edit (especially FamilySearch and Find a Grave) should be viewed with caution. WikiTree is also a collaborative site, but any profiles I have edited should contain citations and sources. There are many great sources for records, but unfortunately they often contain theories and false information as well. My tree on Ancestry is only editable by me, and I have tried to clearly note when hypothetical or unsourced facts are given. However, this does not guarantee that all of my published information is accurate. Use the same caution when viewing the trees of other people, because false information is often copied and spread online. In other words, you have to do your own research by looking at the sources. I hope that the work I have done will make that process easier for you.
