Note they were married in both Catholic and Anglican churches because RC marriages weren't at the time legal. "Roman Catholic priests often recommended that their parishioners be married in the Roman Church but then have their marriage legalised in an Anglican parish church. When asked why he recommended this, one priest "declared glomily that almost every day the wife of an Irish labourer was deserted by her husband and could get no redress" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_Act_1836

As it appears the whole family went to Australia in 1832, the death record for both of them would presumably be in Australia. Ancestry suggests an index to a death in Tasmania but I'd want more evidence This ladies mothers name (which suggests perhaps illegitimacy ) was Joseph not Bushell BUT ITS INDEXED INCORRECTLY

JOSEPH is not the Mother's name but the spouses name! See original [tasmanian archives] Still may not be right woman.

BUT registered in the same district as Maria above, in 1874 was Joseph Norris whose occupation appears to be Barge Builder https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD35-1-43$init=RGD35-1-43p87 (there are other possibly relevant records for Joseph Norris in the Tasmanian Archives (just accessed with person search)

Thank you Helen. I now have this data on the relevant profiles, so the Space page can be deleted. Very good work! I still had some doubts that Margery was the correct person but the link to Tasmania that you found seals the deal for me.
