Transcript of will made 17 November 2022

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me JOSEPH PIGGOTT of Shocklach Hall Malpas in the County of Chester Farmers follows that is to say.
1. I APPOINT my sons George Piggott and Herbert Piggott to be the executors and trustees of this my will and they and tho survivor of them and the executors or administrators of such survivors are hereinafter called my trustees.
2. I give and bequeath the following pecuniary legacies
(a) To my said son Herbert Piggott the amount of one thousand pounds absolutely
(b) To my daughter Lucy Huxley the sum of five hundred pounds absolutely
(c) To my son Edward Piggott the sum of five hundred pounds subject to tho trusts declared by clause 5 hereof
(d) To my daughter Lily Salmon tho sum of two hundred pounds absolutely
3. I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my estate real and personal of which I may be possessed or over which I may have power of disposition at the time of my decease (after payment thereout of all my just debts funeral and testamentery expenses and the before mentioned legacies) unto my said sons Georgo Piggott and Herbert Piggott In equal shares as tenants in common
4. I expressly declare that in the event of my estate being insufficient to pay in full the pecuniary legacies bequeathed by clause 2 hereof the legacy bequeathed to my son Edward and my daughters Lucy and Lily shall first abate proportionately amongst themselves
5. The legacy of five hundred pounds bequeathed to my son Edward by clause 2(a) hereof shall be held by my trustees Upon trust to invest tho same in any securities authorised by law for tho Investment of trust funds and to pay the income thereof unto my son Edward during his life and upon his death as to both the capital and income thereof in trust for the child or children of my son Edward who shall attain tho age of twenty one years and if more than one in equal shares as tenants in common In the event of no child of my son Edward attaining a vested interest the capital and income of the said legacy shall fall into and form part of my residuary estate
6. I revoke all former wills made by me
7. IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my name this fourth day of October one thousandnd nine hundred and thirty three JOSEPH PIGGOTT SIGNED the said testator Joseph Piggott as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both present at tho same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses FRANK MORT Dawsons Farm Worthenbury Wrexham Farm Labourer SYDNEY HAYWARD Clerk with Messrs J Hopley Pierce & Bird Solicitors Wrexham

On the 9th March 1934 Probate of this 7111 was granted at Chester
