  • Harriet’s father mentions in his will that he would like his son, William Jr. to be Harriet’s guardian.
  • They don’t mention a decision about Edward, but in his father, William Groover Sr., mentions in his will provisions for Edward. He puts Edward’s money in the care of his other son, William Jr. He said Edward’s debts are not to be paid with his inheritance. He wants the money to be used for Edward’s three children.
  • I have found a census in which two of Edward’s children are living with their Uncle William.
