Information: Kadoma Cemetery, formerly know as Gatooma Cemetery, is found in the small town of Kadoma, Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. The place of rest is an old Rhodesian cemetery which serviced the mining community from the early 1900s. The current status of the cemetery is unclear, but regrettably it has become derelict in some parts and had not been maintained by the municipal authority. There is a small Jewish section which has been maintained.
Warning: Gravestone Maintenance: Please note carefully that there have been instances of persons soliciting funds for gravestone maintenance and cleaning. Not all of these persons are well intended, and reports are being received of relatives parting with their money and then finding the 'grave cleaner' is nowhere to be found and the grave remains derelict.
