IMMIGRANTS per KATE. - The married and single male immigrants for engagement by the above vessel. can be hired on board on FRIDAY next, the 7th instant, and following days, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Their trades and callings, and the number of each calling, are as follows, viz :

ARRIVALS........

December 4.— Kate, Ship. 900 tons, Captain Greaves, from Portsmouth 16th August. Passengers— Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and 322 Government immigrants. Gilchrist, Watt, and Co., agents.

The Kate, Captain Greaves, has again arrived safe in port, after a passage of 109 days. She brings 322 Immigrants, all in excel-lent health, who are classified as follows 68 married couples, 83 single men, 113 single women, and 54 children ; 1 adult, and 1 child died during the run out, and there have been 3 births. No vessels have been spoken, and the weather during the whole pas-sage has been remarkably fine.

SINGLE FEMALE IMMIGRANTS per KATE.

The unmarried females by the above vessel who have not come out to Join their relatives, about 67 in number, can be hired on MONDAY next, 10th instant, between the hours of 1 and 4 o'clock p.m. , and on the following days between the hours of 2 and 4 o'clock p.m., at Hyde Park Barracks.

Their several callings and the number of each calling are as follows, viz. :

Cooks ..................... 6

Housemaids ......... 10

Nursemaids ........... 8

General servants .. 22

Farm servants ...... 17

Needlewomen ...... 2

Housekeepers ...... 2

Total ..... 67

N.B - In order to prevent Inconvenience the usual orders for admission into the hiring room must be procured during office hours, on or before 12 o'clock on the day of hiring.

Persons not known to the Immigration Department, applying for female servants, will be required to produce letters of intro-duction from clergyman or magistrate.
