Katherine Stewart Forbes also spelt in some records as Catherine Stewart Forbes
Katherine Stewart Forbes a barque built at Northfleet docks in Kent in 1818 by Henry & Wm Pitcher. A 'second description first class' for the Chapman company. She weighed 457 ton and was variously recorded in later reports as a ship and a barque. She conveyed early settlers to New Zealand, and transported convicts to the Australian Penal Colonies in 1830 and 1832. Later carrying Free Immigrants to the Australian Colonies. It seems she stayed in Australian waters for a few years and was variously employed in the sea-going transport trade.

- in 1825 to Van Diemen's Land and later Sydney carrying the incoming Governor General Ralph Darling and his entourage.
- From Plymouth on 18 October 1829 and arrived at Port Jackson on 18 February 1830. Captain Thomas Canney. Carrying 200 male convicts
- From Woolwich in February 1832 - arriving at Van Diemen's Land on 16 July. Captain James Berry. Carrying 222 male convicts.
- From Gravesend on 27 July 1837 and arrived at Holdfast Bay, South Australia on October 17th, 1837. Captain Alfred Fell and Surgeon-superintendent Doctor Park, On this trip she brought 222 immigrants.
- From Launceston, arrived Port Adelaide on June 17th,1838.
- From London on October 20th, 1838 - arrived in Adelaide on March 21st, 1839. Captain Alfred Fell. (via the Cape of Good Hope)
- Numerous voyages between the South Australian and Van Diemen's Land colonies in the following year.
- From London on Thursday, February 4, 1841 - arriving at Port Nicholson, New Zealand on Wednesday, June 23, 1841. Captain Hobbs.
- From Hokianga, New Zealand on Monday, August 19, 1849 - arriving at Port Adelaide on Monday, September 16, 1850. Captain William Wright.
- From London on Sunday, October 19, 1851 - arriving at Auckland, New Zealand on Tuesday, March 9, 1852. Captain William Wright. (via Cape of Good Hope.)
