Kilchers are homesteaders in homer, Alaska, they are also known for discovery channel show Alaska The Last Frontier. Myself a great fan and follower of this amazing family who still sees homesteading as their primary way of living. The family line is descended from Switzerland, Yule Kilcher and Ruth Weber were first of the family to land in AMerican soil. The family extends with sons, grandsons their offsprings.
