KING'S BRANCH CEMETERY (AFRICAN AMERICAN SECTION)
A TRANSCRIPTION OF THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN SECTION WAS COMPLIED AND ANNOTATED BY STEPHEN D. BOWLING (NOV.20, 2009)
The following is a transcription of the visible graves and stones in the African-American Section of the Kings' Branch (Hays) Cemetery located at N 37 32.6791 and W83 22.4840. There could be numerous other graves that have not been located following the recent clearing of this long abandoned and neglected area of the cemetery. More work must be completed to get a more complete transcription. A listing of known burials that have not been located is included.
