Translation

Christoph Graue, born in Anemolter on 13 September 1785, served 11 years and 194 days in the Eighth Company of the First Hussar Regiment of the King's German Legion and was honorably discharged on 12 August 1815, but without a pension. He then returned to Anemolter. During his service he had married a Portuguese woman in 1811 in Tordessenda, which is about three hours from Carilla in the province of Beira in Portugal. His wife, Maria Franciska née Freure, was born in Alverque, a village about three hours from Trancoso. On 26 July 1822, two witnesses from the royal office in Stolzenau testified under oath that the marriage was performed by a priest. These two witnesses are 1) Heinrich Schweermann in Steyerberg and 2) Heinrich Schwier in Müsleringen. According to the testimony of the father, he and his wife had the following children
1) Heinrich Adam, born and baptized in Portugal in the parish of Praedus, born 3 May 1812 [died 1861]. Adam Schneider, currently a corporal in the third squadron of the Hanoverian Guard Hussars, was a witness to the baptism, according to the father's testimony.
2) Marie Caroline, born and baptized in Bordeaux, France. Born 28 February 1814, her father showed me a baptismal certificate in French in which the names are not spelled correctly.

The Alverca seams to be Alverca da Beira (online records: https://tombo.pt/f/pnh01 )

In the XVIII century: was in the "comarca" of Pinhel, near Trancoso:

Alverca, Trancoso in "Memórias Paroquiais" (1), PT/TT/MPRQ/3/44 : https://digitarq.arquivos.pt/details?id=4238926

"Está este povo chamado Alverca na provincia da Beira Alta do Bispado de Vizeu, Comarca de Pinhel termo da vila de Trancoso.

(1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parochial_Memories_of_1758 :

"The Parochial Memories of 1758 (Portuguese: Memórias Paroquiais de 1758) are the results of an enquiry sent to every parish in Portugal after the 1755 Lisbon earthquake by the order of Sebastião de Carvalho e Melo, the Secretary of State of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom. The exercise was organised according to a plan containing 60 written questions; the compiled answers, relaying accounts on not only the damage sustained by the earthquake but also information on the local geography, demography, history, and economy, are valuable historical documents and are stored in the country's National Archive"
