Introduction
In 1601, a head tax register was created for the Gogericht Osnabrück in the Prince-Bishopric Osnabrück. This page is a transcription of the register for the parish of Wallenhorst. The register provides information about the farm and person name, other residents, their tax payments, and where appropriate additional information like
- deceased (obiit)
- poor (pauper)
- etc.
Purpose of this page
