Looking for information on a Daniel Kron, born about 1625 in Troylson/Stralsund in Pomerania. A refugee of the thirty years war, a cutler by trade, arrived in Ireland in 1640s. Changed his surname to Crone and became a denizen of Ireland March 18th 1663. I have traced the family from Daniel to the present day but would like to learn a bit about Daniel (my 8th GreatGrandfather) prior to his arrival in Ireland. John Crone
