Lost Albums & the Lennon-Wylie Website
Mary Lennon's website - https://www.lennonwylie.co.uk/ - is a rich resource for the genealogist. Amongst other things, there is a big collection of old photo albums and assorted paraphernalia that are of potential use to the family historian. Many of the albums are 'lost', i.e. wholly disconnected from the original owners' family, and have only limited traces or hints as to who might have owned them or who is contained in the images.
The goal of this "project" is to try to identify those mentioned in the albums and perhaps rediscover family history and related facts. Tracing the individuals mentioned can range from very easy to extremely difficult if not totally impossible so they can be a good recreational challenge for researchers. They can also force you to expand your repertoire of resources and gain familiarity with regions or history that you might not have otherwise understood.
Items are not claimable
Please note that Mary does not own or possess any of the items (photos, books etc.) so they cannot be claimed back. Please always link back to her site and provide credit where appropriate.
