Kentucky To all to whom these present shall come Greeting
Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of a Certifi-
cate No 441 state price paid without interest, granted
by the County Court of Cumberland June 1802 agreeably
to an acto of Assembly for settling Improving the
Vacant Land in the Commonwealth there is granted
by the said Commonwealth unto William Roberts afee
of Wm Rayfield afee of Abel Cox afee of Uriah
Stow afee of Cornelius McCally who was afee of
Jespee Bowe a ccertain Tract or parcel of Land contain-
ing fifty acres by survey bearing date the twelfth day
of June one thousand Eight hundred of June lying &
being in the County of Cumberland South side of
Cumberland River on Raft Creek & bounded as follow
[???](To[???] Beginning on the Corner of his former
Survey at a sugar tree & Mulberry thence with his line
North 75° East seventy two poles to a [????}wood & white
oak croping the creek at sixty two poles tehnce south
39° East eighty poles to the sugartree & back thence
South 56° West one hundred & four ples to a stake crop-
[????] two branches thence North 15° [????]ninyt poles
to the Beginnings with it's appurtunances. To h ave
& to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land with its
appurtuances to the said William Roberts & his heirs forever

Know ye that by virture & in consideration of a certificate No. 681 (State price paid without interest) & granted by the County Court of Cumberland June 1803 agreeably to an act of assembly for settling and im proving the vacant Lands in the Commonwealth there is granted by the said Commonwealth until William Roberts afee of William Rayfield afee of Abel Cox afee of [????]{????] afee of James McColgar who was afee of Hiram Bowe a certain Tract or parcel of Land containing fourty two acres by survey bearing date the tenth day of September one tho sand Eight hundred & five lying % being in the County of Cumb berland on the South side of Cumberalnd Rive rand bounded as [????????] (To not) Beginning on the upper side of the mouth of Raft creek at two sugatrees on the bank of Cum berland river thence down the same bearing therein South 65° West fifty Eight poles to a white oak & Chestnut oak on the Clift thence South 10° East one hundred poles to a Sugartree & Mulberry Thence North 75° East Seventy two poles to a hoop wood & White Oak croping the [???][???] sixty two ples thence North 18° West one hundred & seven ples to the Beginnings with its opportunces to have & to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land with its opportunences to the said William Roberts & his heirs forever In virtgue whereof the said John addair Esgn & Governor of the commonwealth of kentucky hath wherewith set his hand & caused the seal of the said comm monwealth to be affixed at ????  ???? to the twenty third day of may in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred & twenty two and in the commonwealth the thirtieth by the Governor John adair J Cabel Breck???
