The goal of this project is to explore the various roots of those with the Lemons family name in their family tree. I would particularly like to learn more about the early Lemons family members in the US, but any work on connecting the various folks who share this name would be great.

I am starting with an Englishman named Lemons who came to the US (by 1795) and had a son that year in Mass. The son was named Silas. I do not know the father's name - and I have searched! Much work to do.

This is the first project I have created, so I will be learning along with anyone who joins in.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Deirdre Lavieri.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

• Investigate Lemons family arrivals in the US
• Connect existing Lemons profiles to their immigrant ancestors
• Create new Lemons profiles, as appropriate
