Goals
Hi my name is Jules and I am interested in the Surname of Leuchars. My family comes from London, where they were Dressing Case Makers. They even exhibited in the London Great Exhibition of 1851 and won prize medals for there dressing cases. I know they originated from Scotland, probably from the Parish of Leachars , Fife. So this is a One Name Study to collect together in one place everything about the surname and the variants of that name. The hope is that other researchers like you will join my study to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying lines that cross or intersect.
