My mother's Lillian Dugan line started in Australia when John Dugan emigrated to Australia from Enniskillin Ireland in the early to mid 1800's first settling in Hartley & then after a few years he moved to Dubbo where he remained for the rest of his life farming & raising his family.

I am told a brother William followed him out to Australia & also settled in Hartley NSW. However little is known of William, whether or not he remained there & I'm unsure if he married & went onto have a family.

I have gone online but found no information on this long lost brother which I assume William may have been a younger brother to John.

John Dugan farmed at Minore which is in the Dubbo region for the rest of his life.
