“At this little quaint church, which is surrounded by the bustling Tims Ford Lake, and such beautiful scenery …We have celebrated many holidays and celebrations including: Children Day, Old Folks Day, Dinner-on -The -Ground, Fathers Day, Mothers Day etc. My father Earl Weaver-12550 was a shared Music Director, and Singer. My mom Wilma Davilla Snell-3959 was a singer, and Piano Accompanist, as well as my Double Aunt- Pearl Elizabeth Bell [[Snell- Weaver played the Piano until she turned 100. My brother J.C. Weaver-12586 was also a shared Music Director, and sang with “ The Weaver Brothers,” a 5 - part harmony group that also included my dad. My sister Verna Mae Weaver-12587 Ernst was the Church Historian for over sixty years. Verna and her husband Frank Henry Ernst-2612 Jr. held fundraising in 2004 in order to keep the church still going strong today with over 350 members. We just love Rev. Hice-168 .
