Research Notes
- Mary's middle initial is "J" in the notice, but this is believed to be a typo since her middle name is "Elizabeth".[3] Her initials may have been confused with her husband's initials, which are "MJ". This may also explain why "MJ Witt" appears on the 1869 Atlas of Hamilton County, Ohio.][4] - Kelly Leonard 13:27, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
