Bibliography of Sources - Scotland TEXT
This is a bibliography of historical, paper-published texts that were scanned to digital PDF files and some contain content relevant to McAdoo genealogy or to the history, geography, culture, and times of McAdoo families and their neighbors living in Scotland up to 1900.
The entries are formatted in CMOS or Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition, "Author-Date" format rather than the alternative CMOS "Notes-Bibliography" style because this author finds the publication date of a source reference to be of prime importance.
Most, but not all, publications on this list are in the public domain because the copyright has expired or the copyright holder has explicitly made copies publicly available for free online reading or as free downloads in PDF or another format. Most of those that are accessible online are located and maintained at permanent online data repositories such as the digital reproductions in the archive.org collection, the familysearch.org collection, or others.
