McAdoo Migrations

One objective of the McAdoo ONS is to identify and recognize those McAdoo's who migrated with their families and neigbors from their original home country to another country to take up a completely new life in a completely new place in search of opportunity and prosperity. These migrants are deemed to be "Alpha McAdoos" and should be categorized as follows:

Migrant Categories

The profiles of any McAdoo who migrated should be categorized with both of the following categories placed immediately above, and NOT below, the == Biography == section of their profile:

Migrant Stickers

Additionally, if appropriate or desirable, a Sticker that will display in a profile can be used to denote a migrating ancestor. The template can be copied at left below and will produce the "Sticker" at right below.

Customizing Stickers

Stickers may be customized by changing the text in the "origin" and "destination" fields of the sticker template and by changing flags. A selection of digital images of common "Flags" appropriate for use in the McAdoo Name Study can be found at Click Here. Note that images in .jpg, .png, and .gif will all work provided the correct file extension matches that in the table.
