The goal of this project is to identify the origin and interconnections of the Gaelic surnames McGaughey, MacGaughey, and other variants.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Jesse Sierke.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

Verifying ancestors in Scotland and Ireland with the help of local descendants and researchers
Connecting with descendents around the globe
Enriching the McGaughey branches of WikiTree with media such as photographs, transcribed records, stories, and musical recordings and compositions.
