McNabbs of Langfield RC Parish Register

Main page: McNabb families of Tyrone

This refers to the parish register of the Catholic parish of Langfield, County Tyrone.

I (McNabb-412) started this transcription in 2020, before Ancestry and FMP offered their own transcriptions; by reading the images via the Langfield 05765/05 - National Library of Ireland website. As such, there are bound to be a large number of transcription errors.

I have not since attempted to reconcile this list with the Ancestry and FMP transcriptions to find gaps. but would like to do so.

It is intended to include all mentions of McNabb -- the child, the mother, and the sponsors; and births, marriages and deaths.

Please go ahead and improve this page!

Baptisms to 1864

Note that there appears to be a period approx. 1858-1863 where no records were entered in the register. I do not know why this is (maybe they lost the pen?) . There are a handful of sporadic entries for this period -- possibly written in after the fact.
