The gravestone of Donald McLean (1816–1898), a woollen weaver and crofter, his wife, Janet "Jessie" McRae (after 1818–1897), and their unmarried daughter, Catherine Ann "Annie" McLean (1863–1897).
Members of the family were born and died in the Ross-shire parish of Gairloch. Most of Donald and Jessie's married life was spent at Lot 18, North Erradale.
The grave is located at the north west end of Gairloch's Old Burial Ground in Highlands, Scotland. The gravestone inscription reads:
"In Memory / of / Donald McLean / North Erradale / died 3 Aug 1898, aged 82 years. / And his wife / Jessie McRae / died 13 Nov 1897, aged 78 years. / Also their daughter / Annie / died 10 June 1897, aged 33 years."
