Mercer Cemetery is a rural cemetery in the northern part of the Waikato, outside the township of Mercer.

Situated on Glass Road opposite Mercer School, the cemetery is on an undulating site with the graves mostly facing the road. The land has experienced some subsidence which has affected the state of the graves - the older ones show a lot of damage, while the newer plots, on flatter ground, are faring better. Many of the old, historic, headstones are difficult or impossible to read.

There are no trees planted at the cemetery, but there is a shelter that has been constructed with a seat and water is available from a water tank.

There is no signage at the cemetery, but there is a street sign pointing to the cemetery at the beginning of Glass Road. The location is outside the township and surrounded by farmland. There is no specific parking area allocated - car parking would need to be outside the gate entrance on the grass, and this has limited space.
