I Merideth W Fisher of the County of Union and Commonwealth of Kentucky being in a bad state of Health But perfectly sound in mind have determined to make this my last Will and testament in manner and form as follows (towit) I give to my daughter Maryan Fisher my negro girl Moriah (daughter of Lucy) to her and the heirs of her body forever should my daughter die without issue or before she comes at Lawfull age to make a testament in that event towit the said negro Girl Moriah to Polly An Johnston daughter of George Johnston and her Heirs by the fathers side forever. But should my daughter Mary Ann arrive at lawfull [sic] age to make testament and due without issue of her body in that event she is at liberty to give the said negro Girl Maria to any one of my Brother Georges children All the residue of my property of every description real and personal I give to my wife Ann L. Fisher and my daughter Mary Ann Fisher to be equally divided between them by my executor to be hereafter named in the will at any time they may think it advisable to make the division should they desire it necessary to make any division before my daughter marries or arrives at lawfull age and for the purpose of raising money to pay my just debts which must be done before any of the bequests aforesaid is entered upon I direct that my Executors with in the first place make public or private sale of my personal property. Should my personal property be insufficient to pay my debts then and in that event I authorise[sic] them to sell my Land either at private sale or public and they are hereby authorised to convey the same to the purchaser or purcasors [sic]—I now make and appoint my wife Ann Fisher Benjamin Talbott George Johnson and Daniel McKinny Executors of this my Will and revoke all other wills heretofore made by me in testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal the twenty fifth day of October 1821. At a County Court Began and held for Union County on Monday the 17th day of December 1821 this last Will and Testament of Merideth W Fisher deceased was proven in Court by the oaths of James Blue and John Davenport two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
