The Midway Plantation was located in St. Johns Parish, Berkeley County, South Carolina.[1] It was owned by John Ball (1782-1834).
When owner John Ball died in 1834 the property went through probate inventory. Approximately 126 enslaved persons were named in the inventory:[2]
