Missing in Action

Description

The definition for Missing in Action on wikitree is someone who went missing during a battle, engagement, action, etc.

It also includes cases where a plane or ship is initially overdue and presumed lost. After a period of time, personnel may be declared by their country as Killed in Action

This is not for personnel who went missing in normal garrison and more likely to be considered as deserters.

Add to Profile

If you do not know the country they fought for or conflict add to the high level category by placing this line in the profile

Add information below the last line of the table header (when displayed it will sort alphabetically, so where in the list you add it is not important)

Basic Level
