Project Description and Goals

1. The goal of this project is to document the family of Milton Davis Milam (abt.1836-1892). Specifically, children, spouse (Mollie Wheat), and siblings.
   • Update 11/29/23: All known children & spouse, and all known siblings have been added with Bio. Have added tasks to follow up on under my To Do List and/or Research Notes for members that raised questions for further investigation.
2. As time allows explore ancestors in order to connect to the Tree and descendants in order to allow present day descendants to find their origins.
   • Update 11/29/23: Have not gotten started on this aspect of research. Need to connect Milton's father to The Tree if able to determine who his parents actually were.
     • Research BENJAMIN MILAM (Virginia to Kentucky) and BENJAMIN K MILAM (Pettis Milam's father-in-law) ...other online genealogists keep co-mingling data on FamilySearch and there is only ONE profile shared by TWO men.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Brenda Lang. If you're ancestor or connected in some way to the Milams I am researching feel free to post a comment below, or just dig in and see if we can find Milton's parent and connect the Kansas City Missouri area Milams to The Tree!
