CertierSarty, Sardy, SartieBell's register lumps all of the Sertier and Certier families into the anglicized Sarty (Sardy, Sartie), which causes issues itself because people just assume all the Sardy's are of one family. Notes

Vienot

Leopold Vienot two surviving sons from the Betty who appeared as "15yr old son Jacques, who is listed separately on his own. He was born in 1736 and [marries] in 1762 as James Christophe to Jeanne Daré...The other son was Christopher a 13 year old born in 1736 who will be married in 1761 as Christophe James to Elizabeth Catherine Robar...The Trees on the web mix-up the elder Vienot, Jacques Christophe, with the younger Christophe James (note there was a third son, a Jean Christophe, who arrived on the Betty but died on arrival)." Notes from Jim O'Connor, email to Chris Whitten, August 23, 2019, Three Basic Flaws.
