Morehouse College is an Historically Black College and University (HBCU) It had produced many graduates who are at the top of their field.

Morehouse College was established in 1867 in Augusta, Georgia as the Augusta Institute by Rev. William Jefferson White.[1] It moved to Atlanta in 1879 becoming Atlanta Baptist Seminary and later Atlanta Baptist College. In 1906, John Hope became president of the college and expanded the curriculum. [2] In 1913, he institution acquired the name it has today, Morehouse College.[3]
