Mount Olivet Cemetery there are 19 Death/Obituaries with "Mount Olive Cemetery" and the fact that at least 1 person is one of those 19 and his headstone photo was taken and added to the Mount Olivet Cemetery, proves it. ALSO, the coloradohistoricnewspaper.org picks up "Mount Olive Cemetery" burials in several different states, like California and Maryland..etc...

Mount Olivet Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery operated by the Archdiocese of Denver.

Burials Records of the Calvary Cemetery from a text dated 1945....

From the Church Record Book for the CALVARY CEMETERY "Many of the bodies were removed there (Mt. Olivet Cemetery) but thousands still remain in the old cemetery. Burials gradually declined and stopped entirely in 1908.
See Old Denver City Cemetery, Denver, Colorado but the Calvary Cemetery is not mentioned, just The Prospect Hill Cemetery, and then the Mt Olivet. So need to make a NOTE on the Mt. Olivet and others to redirect to the Old Denver City Cemetery. And the history book I am reading says, 1000s left under the Botanical Gardens, the other "INTERMENT.net (http://www.interment.net/data/us/co/denver/mount-calvary-cemetery/index.htm) says all 8,600 were moved, but I have read where the worked stopped."

Notable Interments

  2. Matthew Joseph Kechter on Find A Grave: Memorial #7036123
  3. Daniel Conner Mauser on Find A Grave: Memorial #7036133
