On an additional petition, dated 20th April 1832, William Howard stated that: your petitioner is a British-born subject who hath received his Majesty's donation of land many years ago, ....Your petitioner purchased a lot three years ago, in the Sixth Concession of the Township of Grimsby, county of Lincoln, in the District of Niagara..
(Was he the only William Howard who received land many years ago? If so, then he's Martha Howard's son).
William Howard's Grimsby land was sold by his widow, Mary, after his death, to her son, Isaac B. Howard.
The "Grimsby" William Howard is ours based upon the sale of land, census records, and vital records. 99% sure that Howard Township's William Howard and Grimsby's William Howard are one and the same.
