History
Mudgee Lawn Cemetery was established in 1993 and has been well planned and set out. The area has been planted with attractive trees and shrubs, including natives. It is regularly mown and watered and the beautiful results are a credit to both Council and the staff who maintain it. Unfortunately, contrary to Council regulations, decorations, ornaments, solar lights, beer cans, bottles and the like have been allowed to proliferate on several of the graves. These spill over onto the gardens in the centre of the beams and must represent a problem for the gardeners.
