It is likely that 'uncle Robert' is Robert Murdoch of Orchard, Auchinleck, a wright and joiner.

It is likely they are the sons of Robert of Orchard, namely William Murdoch (born -------) and George Murdoch (born abt ------). They were both joiners and box makers.
