- Darlene Athey Hill - adding descendants of various founders. (May 2024)
- Sandy Culver - confirming and adding direct line ancestors and founders in Nantucket, including Macy, Pinkham, Coffin, Gardner, Stevens, Starbuck and Swain
- Susan Wilson - I will focus on tracing my Guilford County, North Carolina ancestors back to Nantucket, beginning with my Gardner family. As of February 22, 2017, I have documented my 4x great grandmother, Luzena Gardner Lamb (Gardner-6544) back to Nantucket thru her Macy and Folger ancestors, and her Gardner ancestors back to William Gardner (Gardner-7993) and Susanna Gardner (Gardner-7994). I have managed to thoroughly confuse the William Gardners and Susannas while also confusing myself. I believe I am on the right track now, but plan to do some tweaking when my brain has rested some. I plan to document siblings of my direct ancestors and will be doing that for the next week or so. Cheers!
- Tristram Collins As the 9th great grandson of Tristram Coffin, I have extensive Nantucket roots and a well sourced tree of my Nantucket ancestry (outside of Wikitree) that tie back to most of the founding families on the Island. Our family is still on island and we have deep family records. I am new to Wikitree, and in the process of reviewing my existing tree and working to figure out what is in Wikitree vs. what I have. I will be working to add links descending down from James Coffin (son of Tristram) and Nathaniel (son of James), as well as working to build out the Swain family ties. Feel free to contact me if anyone needs some help in the meantime, I can refer to my non-WikiTree tree to see if I have anything that will help.
- Peter Garry - I am a descendant (both 8th great grandfathers) of Tristram Coffin (via Stephen Coffin, Susanna Coffin (Bunker), Jonathan Bunker, Peleg Bunker and Lydia Bunker, who married David Sprague) and Thomas Macy (via Mary Macy, Jonathan Bunker, Judith Bunker, Lydia Gardner and the aforementioned Lydia Bunker). To the extent that my various ancestors are not already being "looked after" by others on Wikitree, I am interested in "adopting" them and working on their sources, etc, with a view to documenting my whole line back to my two 8th great grandfathers referred to above.
- K Murley My paternal grandfather and his siblings were born on Nantucket in the early 1900s. My great aunt raised her family there and they still live there. However, my paternal grandmother (who, while from New Bedford, also lived on Nantucket for a time during her childhood) is a direct descendent of many Mayflower passengers and other early New England families. I know that some of those families ended up on Nantucket, and I would like to try to figure out where my early New England ancestors might have intermarried with early Nantucket families.
- Dave Jenkins Descend from Richard Gardner Sr. and Sarah Shattuck Gardner. Other Nantucket families include Beard, Waterman, and Pease (some crossover w/ Martha's Vineyard). My line from Sarah Waterman Jenkins is, I believe, firmly established. My brickwall is Jonathan Jenkins Sr., born Boston 1720s and recorded Nantucket death Jan. 3, 1795, and his possible relation (nephew) to Matthew Jenkins-1107 and wife Mary Gardner. Historically, I am interested in Nantucket's neutrality during the Revolutionary War (see memorandum of William Rotch ) and the subsequent migration of many Nantucket families to Hudson, NY. Visited Nantucket (first time) for an afternoon a couple of weeks ago. Pretty cool. 8/25/18.
- Caryl Ruckert I am a direct descendant of Nathaniel Starbuck and Mary Coffin Starbuck. I am currently working on these families and want to collaborate with other folks that are also interested in Nantucket families. 9/7/2018
- J. Salsbery I am a direct descendant of Nathaniel Starbuck and Mary Coffin Starbuck, my 8th great-grandparents. I am currently preparing to publish a family history book on the ancestors of my paternal grandparents (this includes Starbuck/Coffin). So, I have been buried in that work. But I come up to breathe and work on these families whenever I find something new, and want to collaborate with other folks that are also interested in Nantucket families. 1/16/2019
- Edie Kohutek I am a direct descendant of Christopher Hussey and I will work on adding his numerous descendants to the project. I am already active in researching his line and so this will be a pleasure to me. 3/6/2020
- Eddy-1839 My ancestors were Quakers and I can trace my roots back to the Nathaniel Starbuck and Mary Coffin through at least two lines. Also, Stephen Hussey and Martha Bunker, and Benjamin Austin and Susannah Varney. 3/7/2020
- Brad Cunningham I am a descendant of the Swain, Swett, Worth, Coffin, Hussey families and I am working on strengthening their profiles with strong citations. 27/05/2020
- John Hodson I'm a descendant of Thomas Macy, Tristram Coffin, and Edward and Nathaniel Starbuck among the original owners and partners, by way of my 5th great grandmother, Eunice Macy (Macy-312). I have worked on adding sources and expanding bios for Macy and Starbuck descendants, among others, and would like to add similarly to other lines. I guess I tend to jump in wherever I find profiles that leave room for development if I can find good sources. (I especially appreciate the Barney Genealogical Record!) 29 May 2020
- Jennifer Carey Bello I'm a direct descendant of Christopher Hussey. I'm interested in the families, adding descendants, and in the whaling history of the island.
- Eileen Thournir I am a direct descendant of Thomas Macy, Tristram Coffin, Edward and Nathaniel Starbuck, and also Thomas Mayhew Sr. (via Hannah Mayhew). I have been adding my direct ancestors who were not already part of Wikitree such as Barbara Macy (Macy-994) and her father Seth (Macy-995) who married Rebecca Simmons (Simmons-11080).
- Stacey Pearson I am a direct descendant of Christopher Hussey. I am interested in the Hussey and Page families. I’m also interested in whaling history and locating any homes that still exist.
- Barry J Fellner II - Thomas Macy descendant. (October 2020)
- Rich Chandler Descendant of Tristram Coffin (Coffin-221) I am interested in adding sources to the profiles and improving the citations.
- Tara (Smith) Bentley I am a descendent of Nantucket Founders Thomas Mayhew, Tristam Coffin Sr., Thomas Macy, and Edward Starbuck, along with William Woth, John Gardner, and Richard Gardner. (Sept 2022)
- Robert "Bob" Gardner - I thought I might be related to the Gardner line that migrated to North Carolina but I doubt it. It was through that search that I learned about the Nantucket whaling families and became interested in that history. This includes pretty much all of the founding families. I'm a descendant of the Coffins through the Newbury, MA branch. Examples of profiles added: Capt. Edmund Gardner (1784-1875) and most recently: Capt. Joseph William Plaskett (1775-1827). I try to build out families when I add whalers. (August 2023)
- Nyema Owens - Descendant of Tristram Coffin. I am interested in adding descendant profiles along with sources and improving the citations.
