Nashville Cemetery is an active, non-denominational cemetery maintained by City of Vaughan with more than 1000 interments.

The cemetery is bordered on the west by Huntington Road, on the north and south by rural residential properties, and on the east by a newer subdivision development. Traditionally, the cemetery has been referred to as having North, Centre, and South sections. The South section contains some of the oldest gravestones as well as a newer area dedicated to Muslim burials on the southernmost end of the cemetery. Visitors frequently park on the lawn at the "back" of the cemetery, east of the laneway, where there are no burials.

History

Nashville Cemetery was originally known as Zoar Primitive Methodist Church Cemetery and was established circa 1855. The church that was adjacent to the property no longer exists.
